I work Mon - Fri and all the staff nurses take turns taking "call" for the weekend. We get two hours of overtime pay, and overtime for any hours we work if we do get called in for an emergency.
My question is to all nurses who take call, how much do you make on call? Is the pay I'm making sound right?

$2 dollars per hour on call...If you get called in, its guaranteed 2 hours at time and a half, and time and a half for any hour over 2 hours you spend there.
4 hours of reg hourly pay to be on call for the week but it is phone only no going in anywhere, then it is either get a hold of the doc for Rx or else pt to go to ER the 4 hours of pay is weather you have 1 call or 10
$2.25 per hour on-call, plus time and 1/2 if called in (while working) with a minimum of 2 hours guaranteed OT pay when called in. Example, if I am only here an hour, they will give me another hour to make the minimum guaranteed call-back time.
