I don't watch sports. The closest thing to sports I am interested in is grifball.
But it seems like every guy in the world has something to say about sports. Since alcohol isn't allowed in the hospital, it has become the de facto ice-breaker in male bonding. My lawyer friend tells me that I need to know at least something about this stuff to get ahead. I thought I picked this career to avoid insincere networking.
So how much does one such as I, an owner of testicles, have to know about this social phenomenon known as sports?
The game was awesome but Im relegating my bracket to the fire pit now. What a crazy year of upsets.
Suddenly my spiteful decision to keep Kansas from winning my bracket seems a bit more wise. Too bad my fantasy bracket that had Kansas losing to Michigan State had MSU turning around to lose to Georgetown...

Hmm yeah I dont see that happening now. I should have known better to put them going all the way through. After watching them this season it was just shinning examples of what happened this game. Only this time they couldnt pull it together. Oh well, plenty of more games to watch that will be great!
Want to fit in with people? Get a copy of a classic book, Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People. It may be over 50 years old, but people haven't changed that much. Basically, it teaches how to be a good listener and show interest in others. You will find if you ask the right questions, almost anyone will be talking to you about what they like, you don't need to know details at all. Has worked for me.
