I'm a little embarrassed to wear it to work only because we have to change into the hospital scrubs in the locker room...

I always wore them while I was a nurse in California and loved them! Now I'm in South Florida and it's just tooooooo hot! Maybe in the winter. I know I need them.

I have a couple of pairs of TED hose -- I don't wear them because they make my legs ache.

I will be wearing my compression socks that I have for running marathons. I am going to be starting out as a nurse at 44 years old. You'd better believe I'm going to do everything I can to protect my legs and feet.
I'm a runner as well. I wear my Zensah calf sleeves and they really make a difference!

Where do I buy them? I looked in Walgreens and all they have is regular pantyhose or diabetic socks.

Do you have a local scrub/uniform store? They usually keep them behind the counter. Also, you can find them on amazon.com or any scrub/uniform website.

Any one recommend any that don't make you too warm? My problem is finding some that don't make me hot.

Leggs Sheer Energy control top pantyhose work great for me.You can always find them on sale at the local drug store. They are fairly durable. Provide great all day massage/support and the control top does a great job helping them stay in place.

I wear Sockwells most every day. Love them. My feet hurt worse if I don't wear them.
