How many times should I take NCLEx before I give up?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I graduated from university two years and one month ago. Next Wednesday will be the 5th time taking the NCLEx. I have taken Kaplan twice. I did a private program called Sycamore Nurses NCLEx review, twice. Hurst review, Saunders 4th Edi and I'm reviewing through ATI right now. On maternal nursing my scores from test one 50% test two 46% and finished test three 41%. My confidence is shot. My grade point average in school was 3.69. I have my BSN. But I can't pass NCLEx. In fact, I'm on first name basis with the Pearsonvue people.

I feel like I made the biggest mistake by attending nursing school. As of March 1st, I have been living out of my car. Today was the first time I ate at a homeless soup kitchen. 85% of my take home pay goes to school loans. You can find me studying in West LosAngeles libraries with the other homeless. But this isn't the lifestyle I was expecting.

How many times should one take the NCLEx before you just give up?

Never give up until it's done!

i am working as CNA been 8 yrs you can make good money and good life even you can buy wtever and as many as review you want. thats why i did nt take my RN exam before, i want adjust with my life first. i was homeless single mom too. so got cna certificte, two jobs, bought new car and small house, got married. finally thinking about taking RN exam. i am thinking i would have taken before. but when you have all stresses . you can not concentrate on study. you know NCLEX is the hardest thing to pass. i did all otherthings so easily . i am now really studying hard as much as i can. a month leave off work. so dont give up. you can do it. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. thats wt i learned in my life. if we really want to do something. YOU CAN DO IT but it needs your hardwork, dedication and sacrifice. dont look around just focus on your GOAL.

BEST WISHES AND GOOD LUCK
