How many semesters is your nursing program

my program is a 4 semester program. i just finished the 1st semester. to my dismay, they do not offer any summer courses. i would much rather go ahead & get it over with, but i have to admit, i have enjoyed the time off. :cool:

I go to Ivy Tech in Indiana, and the LPN program is 3 semesters. I'm in the last, the summer and will graduate in July. July 26th, as a matter of fact...

All in all, it's an 11 month program.

My program is 11 months long and we go all the way through without stopping. This is for people who already have a bachelors in something else.

8 semesters and I have to finish my prerequisites before starting and can't get those done before January arrrrgh!!

I attend WVU-P, our ADN program is 4 semesters (2 years, counting our breaks). I've got 2 semesters to go. We start in Aug.

The ADN program at my college is 4 semesters..no summers. I hate going in the summer, so I'm happy for that.

My ADN program is 4 semesters, no summers, summers are for the poor PN students.

I don't envy them a 5:30 am clinical. Sheesh.

I am going into semester 3 in August.

I am in ADN program which is 4 semester or 2yrs of the actual nursing program. In Aug I will be entering into my third semester. I am excited to have 2 semester to go. I just want to wish everyone good luck in the fall and have a safe summer. :cool:

At the CC I'm attending, the ADN program is 7 quarters and you work thru the summers (program starts Fall and Spring quarters). Entry is by points (based on classes taken and your grades), so the more pre-reqs you have the better chance you have at getting in. I still have Fall and Winter classes (2 quarters of A&P) before I will apply to start Spring 2003. That puts my graduation at Dec. 2005. Eeeesh! :eek:

My school has a 5 semester program. I'm going Fall, Spring, Summer, then Fall, Spring.

At the end of the summer session, if we want, we can take the NCLEX-PN to become a LPN, and stop there. Or we can go two more semesters, and take the NCLEX-RN, and graduate with an associates degree. I'm planning on becoming LPN, then switching jobs to a part-time nursing position while doing my last two RN semesters.
