How many semesters is your nursing program

how many semesters is your nursing program and does this includes the summer term as well? if you are already in the program, let us know what semester you are in as well. (trying to make conversation!)

mine is a 5 semester program with one summer term. 1st semester is aug 2002.

4 semesters here....but for the pre-reqs you can add on another 3-4 semesters, depending on how fast you go.

Our program is an Associate's degree of nursing, so we will be RNs and not LPNs like bhppy. Thank goodness!

I am in the first semester of the nursing program and only 3 after this! YEA!

At my school the nursing portion of the program is 5 semesters long but in total the whole thing is 8 semesters long. (it is a BSN program). So we have to take all those extra classes which were fun but if you don't want to be bothered with them then you shouldn't. I enjoyed them though.

Did all the prereq work at the community college. Start the BSN program in August. 5 semesters with one summer, straight through for us. Graduation is first Sunday in May, 2004!

Mine is a four semester program. There are actually five classes. If you bridge in as an LPN or EMT, you can finish a semester earlier.

Around here its a 5 semester program with 1 summer session. I haven't started yet but I plan on applying soon.

Our LPN to RN transition program last 13 months. You have to do pre-requisite classes before starting the program and that can take a while. I finished my last class on 6/24/002 and candle lighting was on 6/27/02. I am recovering at this present time from all that studying. My brain feels like mush. Filled out my forms today to take State Boards. Wish me luck.

My was 6 semesters plus 2 or 3 for specialisation after working in the field for one year. All swedish nursingprogrammes are 6 semesters, to become a LPN you have to go 2 semesters.

So glad to have found this site. Here in Charlotte, NC our ADN program is 5 LONG semesters! Just finishing up the summer session in Mental Health. Next year, they are changing the program to 4 w/ the summer off.
