How many scrubs do you own?

All these comments bring up a side note: How many of you work at a facility that requires solid colors? We can wear prints or solids so many of scrub tops are prints that go with multiple scrub pants.

None our local LTC facility doesn't allow scrubs polo shirts and khakis.

I have Hello Kitty, Skelanimals, and all kinds of cute pink, purple, teal, green, blue. I don't know how many I have (easily over 15 pairs), but a few places have had us wear all solid one color. One was pale blue (blegh), the other was "charcoal grey" (meh), and one skilled nursing facility I worked at we had to wear white bottoms but they didn't care about the tops as long as they were scrubs. For women, without getting graphic, there was a few days each month that white pants could be super inconvenient. I know that some patients like for us to be color coded, but all my cool designed prints that have flowers and animated characters bring smiles to a lot of people. I've never had anyone tell me I looked unprofessional.

I have 1 pair of pants (they have to be ciel blue) and 4 tops (printed) for work. I only work 3-4 shifts every 6 weeks so that's plenty (even though I would LOVE more!).

For school I have 2 sets since I don't want to do laundry on Tuesday nights.

I have about 4 sets of navy blue scrubs for work, but I need to buy new one since I lost 20 pounds this summer. I also have a hospital t-shirt that I can wear with navy blue pants.

I have two sets of school uniforms. White tops with a patch and galaxy blue pants

At my facility we can wear solids or prints, and on pay day we can wear jeans if we want. I choose not to wear jeans on pay day because I don't want my jeans to get ruined, and I don't wear anything beside solids that come in one style because as a male I have about 15 choices on scrubs lol. What I would love to get but have never been able to find even on the web is like the 1960s style orderly uniform with the buttons on the top.

I sooooo don't understand the places that require white pants. EVERYTHING shows on them. Nursing can be messy (and so can being female) and it's just impractical. I am starting an LNA course and our uniform is wine colored top, white pants, and white shoes. There's another LNA school in my area where you can wear any scrubs, but I'm not willing to sacrifice another 40 minutes of driving each way in exchange for a better dress code

It depends on how you are normally scheduled. The number of days you work per a week + 3.

1 set for each day of the week you normally work.

1 set in your car at all times from when you get covered in “stuff” and need to change.

2 extra for picking up an extra day of work or if you need to retire a set.

I have 12 + sets of scrubs.

Where I’m at CNA's can not have any white. LPN, RN, Med Tech's must have on a white top or a lab coat. Nursing staff is not to where the same color tops as housekeeping, food service, or maintenance uniforms.

With being a male there is only 2 brands / cuts that I can wear that give me full range of movement with out issues.

Three pair of pants, seven tops. I can wear the pants more than once at the home care job, but not the PICU one. Fresh top every day. I'm fortunate to work in a peds hospital where we can wear print tops. Sadly, the require white or royal for pants. I HATE royal blue- having been scarred for life by an unfortunate choice of bridesmaid dresses by my sister back in the 80's......
