How many of you have 75 questions passed or failed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi, everyone, I am new here

Just took my RN exam yesterday, and... feel so bad. Cannot help it to think I failed it... :crying2: This is my second time to take it. The last time I took it was an year and half ago, I got more than 100 questions, and I failed.

This time, I really spent time preparing for the exam, since I have been out of nursing field for so many years, and it's much harder than I expected and the last time I took it. My brain was blank when I finished the exam. Couldn't remember what kind of questions I had, just memorized that I got a lot of prioritization questions, about 6 to 8. I even got one multiple choice question, when it appeared on my screen, I was so shocked and freaked out.

The computer shut down after I finished 75 questions. I almost cried it out at that time. Cuz I didn't think I do well for all those 75 questions. After I backed home, I kept thinking I failed... :crying2: although my friends kept telling me that having 75 questions is a good sign. I read some msgs posted online and found there are still a lot of people failed with 75 questions... sighs... Don't know what to do next...

People told me I can go onto CA BON's web site to check if my name is on their licensing database. I did go check it... but since I took it on Friday morning, and it's weekend now, I guess I have to wait couple days... sighs...

Hello. That gives me 2 more weeks of agony. I am all tense up and couldn't sleep. Hoping that I was able to make it like everyone else here. Nothing to cheer me up for now.

Hi everyone!

I just got home....Today was NCLEX day. I was so anxious! My test stopped at 75 however I think I failed because my questions were not that hard. I just was not sure of the answers. I got a lot of check all that apply. The topics were:confused: easy but I was not sure If one or two items applied!!! I had a million med questions!!!!!!!! WELL It sure felt like I did. Meds that I NEVER Studied in school!!!!!I started with a math Question that I am sure I got wrong!!!!

I guess I will just wait now.....

Good luck to all!

Took the test today and it shut off at 75 questions! I'm so nervous! Now starts the waiting game! I'm sure the NCLEX has taken some years off of my life from stress!!!!

Hey all. I am so scared to death. Taking the NCLEX on Tuesday. Like Mino, who was at the start of this thread, I am eight years out of school and started prepping for it about eight weeks ago. I am so frightened. I HAVE to pass this exam. I just feel like I can't possibly read anymore. I feel so overloaded, overwhelmed and overworked. Everything...and I mean, EVERYTHING is making me cry lately. For G#ds sake, I cried at the movie "Dodgeball" the other night. I am so tense. I can see that no ones test is the same. But, I feel if the test goes one question over 75, I might break down into hysterics right then and there.

It has brought me a lot of comfort to see how many of you have been passing though!

Please, pray for me on Tuesday. This is the most important thing I have ever done with my life, except for my children...and labor was a breeze compared to this! :)

Cher.

Yipeee!!! I received the letter from CABON. I passed at 75 questions. My friends who took the exam with me also passed..

Like to express my gratitude to suzanne4 for sharing with me her study guide. Thank you very much. :kiss

Passed on the first attempt with 75. Just found out. :monkeydance:

Heeeey, Congratulations for all of you who passed.

I am really glad that it is done for you.

I am going to pass soon.

Can you let us know who did not pass yet....Which preparation books really helped you ???

Is it truth that Saunders questions ( as somebody wrote here) too easy and not enough to prepare ???

NCLEX questions harder than Saunders or close to it ?

I am so sorry for so many questions

Thanks and congratulations for all of you once more !!!! :jester: :balloons:

Yupiiiiiiiiiiii! Congratulation!

Saunders is all u need. Have a look at the Kaplan strategies and do the Saunders CD. Most of the nurse here follow Suzanne's guide and pass.

The difficulty level is determined by the computer. Some questions may be easy for me and difficult for u if u r not familiar with the scenario.

Saunders will teach u how to think, eliminate and prioritize. I found NCLEX question similar to Saunders, shorter though.

Just found out I passed NCLEX RN at 75 questions!!!!!!!!!! I had no idea how i did because i felt like i didn't know many of the questions and the questions i did know were so easy. My heart was pounding the whole test! (what a distraction) I'm so glad i will not have to face that monster again!!!:lol2:
