How many of you have 75 questions passed or failed?

Published

Hi, everyone, I am new here

Just took my RN exam yesterday, and... feel so bad. Cannot help it to think I failed it... :crying2: This is my second time to take it. The last time I took it was an year and half ago, I got more than 100 questions, and I failed.

This time, I really spent time preparing for the exam, since I have been out of nursing field for so many years, and it's much harder than I expected and the last time I took it. My brain was blank when I finished the exam. Couldn't remember what kind of questions I had, just memorized that I got a lot of prioritization questions, about 6 to 8. I even got one multiple choice question, when it appeared on my screen, I was so shocked and freaked out.

The computer shut down after I finished 75 questions. I almost cried it out at that time. Cuz I didn't think I do well for all those 75 questions. After I backed home, I kept thinking I failed... :crying2: although my friends kept telling me that having 75 questions is a good sign. I read some msgs posted online and found there are still a lot of people failed with 75 questions... sighs... Don't know what to do next...

People told me I can go onto CA BON's web site to check if my name is on their licensing database. I did go check it... but since I took it on Friday morning, and it's weekend now, I guess I have to wait couple days... sighs...

passed at 75 q....just stay positive everyone and this forum has helped me get through the waiting and preparing for the NCLex.....:biere: :smiley_aa :yelclap:

Mam,

I had my result 2 days ago and got a passing grade, stopped at 75, would you believe if I told you that started reviewing already for all along I thought I failed that exam, first I was not able to sleep the night before the exam, secondly I was not able to answer correctly the 3 math q's given, though I observed during the exam that I never felt that I was given an easy question, it was only the last 5 q's that I felt it is manageable. As long as you done your best part you will likely to pass. good luck

Oh my God! He truly is soooo GooD! i paaassseeddd!!!!

All along I thought i failed bcoz the questions were not so difficult. (or I am just more prepared this time) 75 Qs and even got some of the simple questions wrong. The 1st time i had to pass thru the eye of a needle, questions were beyond imagination, ran out of time at 260ish and failed.

But this time He knows I wanted it desperately. He gave it to me unselfishly, He didn't have to make me work as hard. yeheyyy!!! Thank you God.

I passed with 75 q's as did most in my class. There was 1 person who failed with 75 and 1 who passed with 285.

I found out I PASSED!! 75 and out, and I'm done. What a RELIEF!!

:yelclap:congratulations!!!!!!!!!

i had 75 questions and passed. good luck

HUZZAH! Congrats, another 75'er :) I had studied SO HARD on psych, OB, even the 1st semester legal stuff etc...and I had 40 med surg, and at 20 medication questions of course! LOL I know it's random... hehe And the 15 questions they throw out, that don't count towards your score, that they're using us as guinea pigs for the next round of test takers? SHEESH I had 3-4 with syndrome names that were so long I swore they used numbers and letters that weren't part of our alphabet to spell the names...

But ANYWAYS, to those are waiting to test, in the words of Rob Schneider, YOU CAHN DOOO EEEET!! Prepare with books or pref. computerized questions over and over AND OVER!! Do 100 questions a day for 3-4 months minimum is what I reccommend...it's what I did, and most everyone in my class did. I can't of course advertise for the study courses that are out there, but if you have the funds (or your facility will reimburse!) TAKE ONE. They really help! If you're on the bubble as to whether to take it, DO.

Good luck to all, congrats to those of you how have passed!
