Hi everyone,
I am working towards getting into a AA program here in the Bay Area. I just wanted to know how many different programs did you apply to???
How many times did you have to apply?
What was your GPA?
Thanks :heartbeat
I applied to 3 ADN programs....SCC, Sierra and ARC. I got accepted into Sierra on my first try. I was originally rejected but received a call on 5/20 that someone had dropped out and I was next on the waitlist.
My overall GPA is 4.0.....I was told by my counselor at Sierra that grades do factor into it but obviously not for the first round pick. Maybe it's done by lottery and then the waitlist is by grades....I don't know.
Good luck to everyone!!!

I was curious how the selection process worked for Sierra ( I have a 4.0 overall as well) because I got in on my first try. I asked the admin. assistant when I turned in my paper work on Tuesday and she said everything is a lottery system. We were just lucky to be at the top of the list. You were probably #31 on the list!!
Applied to CSULA, CSUSM (San Marcos), SDSU, and NYU. 3.6 GPA, got into CSULA and CSUSM (waitlisted NYU).Anyone else going to CSULA this fall??
Hey,
Just wondering, did you apply to the Accelerated BSN program at CSUSM, or the traditional one? I'm still waiting to hear about my application. I applied to the ABSN program and we're supposed to get our letters the first week of July...(hopefully you got into the BSN program, or that may spell more bad news for me.) Fingers crossed! Thanks!

Hi all, I'm moving to Cali due to my husband job. Does anyone knows a program that is not a 2-3 yrs waiting list?
