Hi,

Just wondering how many prereq's everyone else is taking this semester?

I'm taking:

Physiology

Microbiology

Pharmacology

Nutrition

It's A LOT of work.

My first semester Spring 08' I took

Freshman English comp.

Math (algebra MA07)

Sociology

Psychology

freshman seminar

Summer 08' I took Chem 101

Fall 08' I am taking

A&PI

Developmental psychology

Only doing two classes a semester from know on, first semester went crazy and was hectic:banghead:, don't want to do this again.

Specializes in LDRP.

A & P 2, English Comp, and General Psych... english comes easily to me, so i hope eng and psych will be easy and i can focus most of my time on a&p!

Specializes in Nada.

guess i'm lucky. I already have a bachelors in psychology. this is my second degree so all my crap courses are out of the way. my hardest semester was human ecology, stats, experimental psych and a culture class on japanese history. :p i'm ready for anything.

At my school I have to have Freshman Comp before I can do Psych, ya'll are lucky. I had to fill the gap to stay full-time with world civilizations cause Nutrition was full, but I will need it for my bachelor's so might as well get it out of the way. We are limited to what we can "take next" -- like I can't take A&P til my algebra is out of the way. I can't wait, I had 3 semesters of A&P years ago, too long to transfer, but it came easy to me so hoping to take A&P with one of my harder ones, probably microbiology.

Hello! I am new to this allnurses.com. I saw your post about Central Texas College. I am also applying for the nursing program. I am takeing a & p 1 this fall along with intro to nursin, pharma, and not sure about the other yet. I was wondering wich computer class you are takeing at ctc. I was also thinking about Temple. Thanks

Plan on taking:

Bio

Psychology

Sociology

Speech

Eng 101

Im trying to get 30 credit hours in a year, so i can apply for SIUE next summer.

I already have my BA in History so all of my classes are strictly limited to science and math classes I'm deficent in due to my undergrad major. I'm also limited to 12 hours or less due to the fact I'm employed full time as a personal banker.

Fall:

College Algebra

Statistics

Anatomy and Physiology I w/lab

Spring

Organic and Biochemistry w/lab

Anatomy and Physiology II w/lab

Microbiology w/lab

I minored in Biology in college, but my classes were Genetics, Immunology, etc not the lower levels of Biology which now I wish I took!!! But my success in those courses gives me great enthusiasm for Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology (which I am especially excited about). If I don't get into the AE MSN program or BSN program I'm half tempted to pursue a second BS in Biology and go for a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology.

A&P 1 + Lab

Micro + Lab

Cell Biology + Lab

I thought mine was tough but looking over some of your schedules is making me feel MUCH better!:)
