  1. I hear they have financial aid now? Thats what it says on their website.
  2. Well i was trying to work at nights so i can have saturdays for myself and sundays to study. Classes are Monday-Thursday i think from 8-4pm or might be 12-8.. i cant remember right now.
  3. I just passed my CNA state exam and am starting Nursing school in a couple months. While in school i plan on working as a CNA most likely night shift. Just wanted to know what its like working the graveyard shift? Is it harder or easier than other shifts? What should i expect as a CNA during the night shift? Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanx. Edit: Im a male.. just incase it makes a difference?

  5. 60%.. its easy. i doubt anyone fails.
  6. I went to their info session last week, and the guy answer all the questions we had. I just didnt like how he acted like a salesman the whole time but besides that the school seems legit. Im probably going to finish my pre reqs up at Triton college then attend americare over Spring '10. He did say they are probably going to increase the tuition cost, but thats only if they get approved for financial aid.
  7. Im 21 living in chicago and currently enrolled in CNA course at Triton college. I do plan on moving out of my parents house once im done wid cna and will probably rent/share an appartment with a friend to save money.
  8. Id get a CNA first. Im also planning on becoming a LPN but wanted a better job while im in LPN school so i decided to become a CNA.
  9. will be takin my test first week of may! Just had our first clinical yesterday, fun stuff.

  11. well i decided to just do LPN then go back to school get my bachelors in psych. I will be attending Americare in schaumburg, il. Its $17000 for a LPN program but its worth it to me.
  12. i was gonna go there.. but the savings arent worth the wait so i have decided to go the private school way.
  13. Plan on taking: Bio Psychology Sociology Speech Eng 101 Im trying to get 30 credit hours in a year, so i can apply for SIUE next summer.
