How many got only 75 questions?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took the NCLEX yesterday morning and I was done in an hour and only got 75 questions. When it shut off, my heart sank and I felt sick. I had no dosage cal. questions(which I'm good at), lots of pharm.(which I suck at), and a ton of priority questions. I hate this waiting and it's only been one day. :o

Hi! I just took my NCLEX today...it was by far one of the worst experiences. I also got 75 questions and most were pharm and priority! Plus, I had several "Check all that apply" ! I hate those!

Anyways, I 'm pretty sure I will be one of the few who fail at 75! I did fine in school (also have a BSBA) and got a 98% chance of passing NCLEX on some NLN test our school made us take. I studied by doing Q&A's from a MOsby CD! I just can't believe how bad I feel!

I guess 45 days to retake isn't too long but I wanted it to be OVER for the sake of my family. Oh well, I'll keep trying if I do fail which I hope to know tomorrow! Can't believe it came down to 75 questions in 60 minutes!

Found out early this AM while working at the hospital...I passed!!! And the results only took 3 days!!! Relief is an understatement!!!!

Did you find out on the rn.ca.gov website?

Cress101 - don't hang yourself out to dry just yet. I think almost everyone walks out feeling like they failed. Seriously - you may very well have done fine. So many people on this site passed with 75 questions, and almost all said "I was certain I failed."

I'm waiting for results in CA too. I took mine yesterday.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks. We'll see...Are you still really anxious? I'm thinking about what to do to prepare for the next nclex. I'm not feeling like studying right now though. I spent over 6 months studying for this test. I guess that's why I'm not feeling like I passed.

Cress101...just hang in there and don't forget to breath...I was anxiety ridden and planning for the next test too until 4 o'clock this morning. I don't think there are many people who come out of that test with anything but doubt and anxiety. Three days seems to be the magic number for results right now...When did you take your test? I went on

and on verify professional license...put in your last name, full name...whatever...my name starts with ab so i was right at the top. Relief is an understatement...good luck!

congrats mollymil!!!

Cress101 - yeah, I'm a nervous wreck too. Waiting, and hoping I'll see my name on the CA BON site.

I took my NCLEX this morning, and it sounded very similar to yours. Lots of priority, no calculations...shut off at 75. I'm a nervous wreck and it's only been 12 hours! I was shocked when I walked out of that room in just over an hour.

Good luck to you!!

Also sounds similar to the one 1 took last year .... guess what? I passed.

So take it easy ..... :lol2:

I found this forum yesterday after taking my test. 76 questions. I thought I had completely blown it. I was encouraged after reading that so many others felt the way I did. I just found out that I passed and I am sooo relieved. Everyone stay positive and trust that you did okay.
