I took the NCLEX yesterday morning and I was done in an hour and only got 75 questions. When it shut off, my heart sank and I felt sick. I had no dosage cal. questions(which I'm good at), lots of pharm.(which I suck at), and a ton of priority questions. I hate this waiting and it's only been one day.
I PASSED with 75 questions, found out today!! Congrats too all of us!! :balloons: :biere: :smiley_aa :yelclap::cheers: :redlight:

Okay ..... took mine today - 75 questions, out of which I think I guessed on 50 of them... Narrowed it down to 2 answers and took my best guess. One calc question, lots of pharm - do they make these drugs up??, and tons of who to see first. I also had lots of peds and Endocrine. I felt sick to my stomach when I left! What does everyone do to get through these next 48 hours????
I am a nervous wreck - reading through all of these posts, and seeing how everyone has been passing is a little comforting, but I do hear of people failing in 75!
Need more reassuring! THANKS!!!
Anyway, I was on my way there and was in a car accident. Car is totaled..I am sore as heck!!
OMG! I am so sorry that happened to you, but glad you're ok. What a horrible thing to have happen right after an already stressful test!
Best of luck as you await your results. I just took mine today.
To answer the question of the thread - I got 75 questions today, don't have results yet.
I just HAD to join this site because my fiance (who was VERY supportiveall throughout nursing school) found this the night after I took my boards and was waiting for the news. I took my test this past Monday and my computer shut off at 75. I wanted to throw up! I could not believe that they had made a decision on me already.
It was reading all of these responses that helped me through the waiting period. I read statements that other people made that were exactly how I felt and it helped. Thank you to everyone. When my screen turned blue after 75 questions I wanted to scream, I also could not believe that they make you answer survey questionswhen you are done.
I had a lot of choose all that apply questions, priority, who would call back first, and who would you discharge first. Thank you to for the member that posted "every time I turned around I was returning a message" this made me laugh at a time that I REALLY needed it.
I found out today that I PASSED , so 75 questions can be a good thing!!!!!
:redlight: [color=dimgray]i took mine the other day in ca and the damn thing shut down at 75 q's. i was hoping it would, but i was also hoping to walk out of there feeling more confident than i did. too bad you couldn't skip questions then go back and answer them later. the whole test took me about 2 hrs (?). it's kind of all a blur. i know for sure that i didn't pass even though i don't have anything in writing from my brn. how long does it take in ca to receive your results? i was looking at the ncsbn website (driving myself crazy) and there are pass/fail powerpoint examples on there. the fail presentation showed 75 questions with the pass example having over a hundred (i think, if i remember correctly). oh well, i guess i have another 45+ days to study. i took the kaplan review and read stuff out of my med-surg, ob, psych and drug books to prep. congrats to all those who did pass with 75 questions.
