What she said was that she sent in all of our information the day we graduated, but that the florida board of nursing would not allow us to apply wih them for thirty days.... im still a little confused as to what the whole process of applying with the board of nursing all the way to getting my ATT letter is. I just feel like we are probably already in the system and it would be ok to apply now,but our director said if we do it now and our name isnt in the computer system we will lose the money we pay. Tell me how long you had to wait to apply after finishing an LPN program
Generally your ATT is sent by pearsonvue once you have registered with them and paid any fees and the BON tells them it is OK to send your ATT. Pearsonvue is usually OK for 12 months however once you get your ATT it is usually valid for 90 days but should state something on your ATT. Only once you have your ATT can you schedule sitting NCLEX. ave you checked out your state BON in regards to being able to sit the exam
jmitchell-85, in the state of FL the wait is 30 days, not getting around it. The school have sent all the required infor that they will need. I sent mine in around the 1st and still have not heard anything yet. In the meantime, I am studying and doing questions!
Since when? I graduated from LPN school in 2008 and we all applied at the same time, which happened to be the day before graduation. I graduated from RN school in December and we were all applying online the week of graduation. You truly do not have to wait until 30 days has passed since you graduated. If your program director hasn't sent the "official" graduation roster, your application will just be in limbo until that information is received. Once you do apply, register with PearsonVUE, and pay all fees, it can take up to 30 days to receive your ATT, but usually you'll get it within 2-3 weeks.
you apply while still in school. the board will require some sort of proof of graduation/proof that you completed a nursing program. Once they get that proof you will then receive your ATT. For myself and others I graduated with, it took about a month to get. For May grads, it took them about a month to get their ATT, too.

I just graduated from the LPN program the first of this month and our director told us we will have to wait thirty days to even apply with the board of nursing. Im confused and feel like that is way too long. I want to take my test ASAP because i have a job lined up and I want to know how long it took for the rest of you to apply with the board of nursing and then letter to test
