I just graduated from a nursing program and I'm feeling super anxious. Its like a constant knot in my chest while anticipating the NCLEX. How long does it take to receive your ATT letter after submitting everything? Please help ?
I called the BON yesterday and they said they have up to 25 days to process it. This waiting is the worst part. My friend at a different school said she waited 21 days and didn't receive her ATT until she called a complained. I just get blown off so I don't want to irritated them. I will call next Monday and the Monday after that. Hopefully they will send it soon. However, I have resumed studying at least three hours daily so at least I will be ready for the big day :)
Hi everyone,
Thank you for all your posts. It really helped me while I was in nursing school and also through NCLEX-PN exam process and all. I would like to share my experience with everyone also. I hope it will help calm someone after the exam waiting for the results.
I finished my LPN program in IL in April, 2014.
05/27/2014-----Pearson Vue Payment- $200
I was having problem with getting my ATT as all my friends got it in 24hours. So I called Pearsonvue and they keep telling me to wait 2-3weeks for them to process. Finally I found a post about calling Continental testing, so I called them and in minutes my ATT arrived on 05/30/14.
Scheduled exam for 06/02/2014 (took the first date) and the only date and time was 8:30am until the end of month .
After exam it was so stressful, don't know if I passed or failed as my computer shut off at 110.
After an hour did the Pearsonvue trick and got the good pop up (Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time).
After 24 hours I was on continental testing and pearson vue site every 15mins checking and hoping to see the result.
06/03/2014 around 4pm I saw the result in continentaltesting.net ---that I've passed
06/04/2014 I found the quick results in Pearsonvue still paid $7.95 and confirm the results.
06/06/2014 Got letter from continental testing shows result and Application for licensure
06/09/2014 Send $50 for Licensure to IDFPR (I would prefer to send licensure application ASAP if you are in IL, because of our law is to have our name on database and License in hand before start practicing)
06/27/2014 Name on database.
Still waiting for License .... will keep you posted. Thank you allnurses and for all the post from dear friends in allnurses
Good Luck to all..

I'm in Indiana and my timeline was as follows:
Last day of class: May 10th
School sent paperwork: May 13th
Email ATT received: May 17th (same day as graduation)
Scheduled NCLEX: May 18th
Took NCLEX: June 10th (passed with 75!)
So basically I took my NCLEX exactly one month after my last final. Good luck!
