How long did it take to get your license number after passing NCLEX?

It's been over two weeks and I'm still waiting. Wondering how much longer I'll have to wait. How long did it take you? Thanks.

It took exactly 3 weeks for my license to show up on the NJ BON website. Passed the NCLEX June 17th and my license date is July 8th. Still haven't received the paper license yet or my NLCEX results. Check the NJ BON site :-)

It has been over 3 weeks and they have still not given me a number or processed my results yet! I'm getting very frustrated because I can't even go to orientation without this number! What is the website? That might be easier then calling! Thanks

go to the NJ board of nursing website

search yourself and your license number there.

i just recently passed my nclex so i have to wait 3 weeks :( oh well...i'm just excited i passed and i can start working. these 3 weeks allows me to catch up on my life and actually enjoy the rest of summer :D hehe

My advice is to call the BON daily. I think the more you bug them the faster they go.

so i just passed my nclex :) woohoo! i'm an RN. what do i do now? just wait for the bon to send me my license information?

Yep! And keep checking the website's licensee directory, because your license number will probably show up there before you get the info in the mail. Congrats!

You have to wait until they have received your nclex results, processed them and then finalized your application. This usually takes about three weeks. If you call now, all they will tell you is that your results haven't been processed yet. But you can call and ask because I think bugging them makes them hurry you along.
