How long after passing do you receive your license?

Hello All :)

I took my NCLEX-PN on May 3rd and got my 'Quick Results' on May 5th and PASSED! So now I'm just curious how long do I have to wait now until I receive my license? I got laid off 2 years ago and decided to just focus on school but my unemployment ran out and I'm anxious to start looking for jobs..

hi if you took the CA board, i received mine at 7 working days from the day of my examination

It depends on when they send it to you. If you have a license number posted on the Board website you can start looking for work now. The employer verifies with the Board anyway, so you don't have to physically have your license in hand. Good luck in finding work.

I've been checking the consumer affairs website everyday but it still says 'pending' under my status so I guess I'm gonna have to just wait it out. I'm going to start applying now, because like you said, they can verify it regardless. Thank you so much for the good luck wishes!
