  1. In California, I took my test Saturday morning, got my license Wednesday. QUICK!!!!
  2. Wishing you all the best too! It was Saturday morning when I took mine so half my brain was still sleeping, my attention span was fading after 45 questions! I can't imagine staying for 6 hours like others who have endured that. Good luck
  3. Hello!! I was born in Philippines but grew up in Sydney, Australia since I was one. I consider it as my 'first' homeland though
  4. I studied in Sydney, Australia (so I believe our curriculum is more similar to yours than the USA). I also did one year new grad in a paeditric teaching hospital in Sydney. Have you gone through the NCLEX as well?
  5. i'm so sorry to hear how difficult it is for you... LaCharity helped me a lot. So did endless questions using Kaplan. Those were my only 2 resources. Please stay strong; you WILL overcome this.
  6. I put all my $$$ on Kaplan instead of Hurst (there was no way I can review a little bit of everything in 2 months). I passed after 75 questions in 45 mins. Anything Kaplan is good; questions are hard. LaCharity I used also, wonderful investment. I went through the book twice.
  7. I got between 55% - 65% and answered 2000 questions in 2months. Passed NCLEX at 75 questions. Great investment.
  8. Do HARD questions like Kaplan. QUESTIONS at least 100 per day.:)
  9. It works within hours. I took my NCLEX RN on Saturday, 8am. Was home by 9.30am. Checked at 11.30am with good pop-up. My name was on Ca BON by Tuesday morning, received my card 2 days later.
  10. Dear Friends Thank you SO VERY much for the words of support and encouragement. I checked this morning and found my name on the Ca BON. I am extremely thankful for all your support. No one can understand how incredibly challenging the NCLEX is but those who have prepared to take it. I wish you all the best and PM me if you need advice on what I used to self-study (I am a foreign educated RN).
  11. hi friends i just sat the nclex this morning. stopped at 75 questions, as soon as the screen went blank i almost cried because I didnt want it to stop at 75. at least i knew i was still in the game if it kept going. i dont even want to check PVT because i know i didnt pass. there were a lot of drug questions that i was unsure of.
  12. I know this is an older topic, but I just thought I would contribute I graduated and worked in Sydney, Australia in 2008. I did my new grad in a children's hospital before moving to Califonia, USA in 2009 to be with my American husband. I received my ATT last years and I'm scheduled to take the exam on May 7, 2011 at 8am(!). Oh gosh. I hope i'll be fine. Good luck everyone!
