Hi everyone, I've noticed that a lot of you guys took either Kaplan or Hurst. I decided to go for Hurst because I believe that a strong core foundation is the key to help me pass.
I just have questions for those people who took HURST review. I finished the online material, but then on the final thoughts Aunt Marlene said I have to know the core content without a doubt or hesitation, and must know the topics and explain them the same way they teach it at Hurst.
Does that mean I need to memorize everything the lecturers said and not just simply understand it? I'm scared because this is my second time taking the NCLEX, I failed the first time and there's so much pressure on me right now, everyone wants me to take it, but I don't feel ready yet.
The last time I took the exam was Sept 27, 2011. And then there was an eligibility issue in California, and I was no longer allowed to retake the test. It was very frustrating because they already let me sin in for the exam the first time. But those are their standards and I can't do anything about it. I either go back to school in California or move to another state, and I chose move and I just recently received my ATT from Nevada.
I really want to pass this time. And I believe in Hurst I just want to know how to maximize the learning material. Thank you so much.
All other inputs on how I can study better the second time around will be greatly appreciated.
Hi , I want to ask you about eligibility thing . I also graduated from Manila . The board approved my application last november and I'm goin to take the exam this June . So if I fail the NCLEX there's a possibility that they may ask another requirement for me if I retake it ? I really really nervous about this exam and this new info makes me more nervous ...

Hi! I have the same problem! Filed my application to CA BON last February and been going back and forth in completing the new requirements that they need. After 6 letters they told me that I need to go back to school in CA bec my school in the Phils didn't meet the min requirements for obstetrics and med surg! Is it better to get a lic in Nevada than have my transcript re-evaluated here? Tnx so much
