  1. I'm so sorry guys, I haven't been able to check my email lately and haven't been to the forum that's why I wasn't able to reply to you guys. I'm doing great, have a full time job as an RN in a small long term acute care hospital here in Las Vegas. Thank you yours truly for sending the files to the people who asked. To all the others I'll send out files on Saturday for those of you who I haven't send anything yet. You would be receiving two emails because those are two batches. Good luck to all of you! Pray and believe in yourself. :)
  2. Was browsing thru the threads and found this, haha. I was like hey that's me. Why are they talking about me? Anyways if you have any other questions feel free to email me. :)
  3. OMG guys, I forgot where I backed up all the files I had, one of you replied to my email and told me about this site where I can upload my files and just share the link for everyone to just access it from there. I did that before reformatting my laptop, and now, I forgot what site that is so I can't access the files.
  4. I'm sorry guys, I just read your posts, do you guys still need the files? I was so busy job hunting, I finally landed a job today! I'm so happy!
  5. Update 06.01.12 You're reading this thread because you're probably afraid of being denied by the CA BON for the concurrency issues or you have been denied already and you're looking for another way to be licensed. You can do 2 things: 1. Go back to school in an accredited program in CA 2. Apply for licensure in another state You can go for 1 if you don't mind going back to school and you have the money time and effort. You can go for 2 if you want to be licensed and finally work as an RN but is willing to relocate. I opted for 2. I applied for Nevada. It's longer, you have to take toefl and go by cgfns but it's not as strict. The only down side is that there's no job opening for new grads. It's so hard to get a job. So my advice this time around: Apply for licensure in one of the compact states, NV is not one of them. If you apply for licensure for Tennessee for example you can also work at other states which is a member of the compact states. And it's actually less hassle because you don't need toefl or ielts anymore. And when I searched online states, those states actually have job openings in hospitals for new grads! Boo, so if I would do it again or if I have known this, I would have applied for licensure in one of the compact states rather than NV. Passing nclex is half the battle, getting a job is the harder part.
  6. Is this still active? I'm looking for agencies as well to get hired. Please Email me at [email protected]
  7. Its so ironic, on my first try my scores are high and I failed and on my second attempt, I've been scoring lows but i was confident i was gonna pass. If you know in your heart that you studied for this, you have nothing to fear. My low scores didnt stop me from taking the exam, I didnt even think of rescheduling it. They said you must at least score 60% to pass. But in my Qtrainers, the highest I got was a 59%. Have faith in HIM, believe and pray. :) I can't say it enough, pray, pray and pray.
  8. Awww. Take it at your own pace, don't rush and don't pressure yourself. do not be hard on yourself. I prayed everyday and my anxiety went away. Do not memorize anything, the only thing you have to memorize are your labs and formulas on drug calculations but everything else you just need t understand.
  9. I'm sorry for the late replies, you should have received the files by now. I'm busy job hunting. Everyone's looking for those with experience.
  10. I spent more time studying content rather than answering questions. I was able to answer not more than 2000 questions. But you have to know how to prioritize, how to apply your knowledge into answering questions. Remember quality vs quantity It doesnt matter if you answer 10,000 questions or 2,000 questions. If you do not read the rationale and understand why it happened then it won't help you. You have to understand why your answer was wrong or why its correct
  11. Two emails have been sent to each of you. Good luck guys. :) you can do this!
  12. Files Sent. :)
  13. I didnt buy anything, all resources I got are for free, the kaplan course book is just a hand me down book. the kaplan qtrainer is just a software from a cd a friend gave me too.
  14. Thank you guys, 2 emails have been sent to each of you. :) God bless
  15. Kaplan Qtrainers 47% - 59% PDA La Charity 37% - 68% NCLEX 4000 43% - 77% Those are the range of my test scores
