How to get rid of the plumber's crack?

I am currently a CNA in a LTC. My problem is, by the middle of the shift, I'll be showing a little of myself everytime I bend down. I'm a big guy about 250lbs down from 300lbs. From all the lifting and repositioning, I tend to sweat and my pants seem to get looser and my undershirt gets untucked. That's where my problem begins. I've tried many different things to avoid the problem: re-tucking my shirt, wearing a larger undershirt, wearing a tighter undershirt, tieing (sp?) my pants as tight as possible. Being that I'm going to be working in a hospital (ortho) within two weeks, I really don't want everybody in the hospital to see my plumber's crack. Any suggestions?

Suspenders. That's why they were invented ... to hold people's pants up. If you don't want them to show, you could wear them over a t-shirt and under a scrub top.

A jumpsuit would also work ... but that would be wierd.

Maybe a belted scrub pant? I know Aviator sells 'em

Perhaps plastic surgery where they could weld your cheeks together :D Sorry; I just couldn't help myself..............

Hey get a tatoo that blends in with the crack!!! A naked woman or maybe super hero. I know, get a tatoo of underware!!! That way they really wouldn't notice the crack. I am a genius!! :D

Somebody stop me please!!! Its like I am possessed !!! It is my coyote medicine coming out!

A liberal application of crack spackle.

tall/extra tall undershirts.....(longer)....go to scrub store and try on every style that come in your size....find the one that has fuller thigh....should put less "pull" on the back waist band when you bend......a lab coat type top will also "cover" the area in question.........remember to pull up on the front of the leg before you bend....aslo reduces the pull on the rear waist band.....good luck

Check out the Longtail T from Duluth Trading Co. I haven't tried them myself yet, but I hear good things about the coverage in your specific trouble region.

Oh Jeff...wow LOL!!! Try scrub pants that are elastic and tie (works great for me and all of the other guys I know who have a problem with sagging bottoms).

I wear athletic shorts under my scrubs......If they show it doesn't matter.....

Duluth trading is a great company, I've ordered several items from them. My first thought was "long under shirt..tucked in". That is what I do.

I'm a nosy girl that was a little tired of reading all the sentimental stories about how an angels and teddy bears. I would not survive the nursing field without my male co-workers. I so expected a thread like this... and yes go with the long undershirt. PS never go sans undershirt with a hairy chest and a gold cross chain necklace. just don't.
