Does anyone know of someone that was successful at leaving this profession and still have a nice salary? I'd like something with less stress and that would allow for a healthier lifestyle and overall higher quality of life.

Yes, I do
But, what sort of things interest You?
What are you trying to get away from, and what would you like to be doing?
There are plenty of nursing related jobs that may be less stress.

Know some case managers that love their jobs. Also a few friends that went to dental and pharmacy school

I have a friend who became a high school health professions teacher. M-F, summers off, holidays off, weekends off.

Get the book "what color is your parachute". Great guide.

Nope, but please let me know if you find the answer. Been trying to get out for years. Mental and physical health has gone completely downhill since becoming a nurse.
PS Case management is extremely stressful too. Even working from home. Been there done that.

School nursing? Community nursing? MDs office?
There are plenty of options for nurses who want 8-5 jobs with less stress.
