How did you find out about allnurses?

Hey everyone . just wondering how do YOU find out about allnurses.com. I found out about it when I was searching for somehting about nursing school and I looked for it on a search engine. I happened to pass this site on that search. I thought this was interesting site, but not exactly what I was looking for at the time. When I finally realized I was going to do it (nursing school). I thought about this site and been hooked here ever since.:)

My experience is a bit unique. In my nursing and computers class one of our assignments was to join allnurses for 2 weeks and write a paper about our experience. Needless to say I am still here.

hi found it on google , and have a question ill go to a scheduleing area if you have one big problems with new hires and long time nurse employed already. thanks .

I've been around this site so dang long I don't even remember how I ran across it........I know I lurked for a couple of years before joining........now I wonder what in the world I did with my spare time before I started posting!! :chuckle

Yup. I've lurked alot and gone through periods of posting regularly, but been long enough so I can't remember where it all started. Seen alot of evolution take place, though!

I was writing a paper (20pgs) all about nurses, the shortage, nursing duties, etc and I ran a search on google and stumbled on this site and I love it! :)

When I first discussed seriously going into nursing, I posted in the Medicine> forum on another BBS (specifically, ISCABBS). A user from ISCA directed me to Allnurses.com. I immediately felt at home here and it's been a wealth of information to me.
