as i'm looking at how many members and guests are online, i was wondering how you all found out about this website. i found allnurses.com when i was googling for help with my math problem while in my first semester in nursing school. ever since, allnurses had been my companion throughout my nursing journey and introduced this website to friends and co-workers as well. if it weren't for this site, i think i would be bored. it's so interesting to know about other people's opinions and experiences that i learned so much from all of you. so, thank you brian for starting allnurses.com and keeping it alive.:nurse:

I googled something about nursing school and saw posts from all nurses.. been hooked every since.

This site got me through practical nursing school, my first year as a nurse, and now it is here for me while I earn my RN license.

At work. I walked by and saw it on one of our computers. after I had finished the task I was doing I sat down and started reading and that was around 9 yrs ago

I think it was Google for me too. I met someone here about 2 weeks after I started posting. Got my first nursing job thanks to them and AN. I relocated for the job, which I still have almost a year later.

I was in my first semester of nursing school and googled "nursing school drama". AN popped up and it's pretty much the first and last website I visit almost every day.... lol.

Quite a few years ago, I posted on a breastfeeding message board. Someone there linked to a thread here where a few people were making some less than informed comments. A big inter-board dust-up ensued. I wasn't even a nurse at the time, but I started lurking. Eventually I went to nursing school and here I am!

Every time I found myself resorting to google for some research project or another in school I found myself here. Didn't create a user name until my senior year when I posted a couple surveys. Been using it off and on since, usually when I am frustrated with work and need to vent, or if I need help seeing things in a more humorous light :) (or a humerus light? haha not funny I know)

But yeah, good stuff here!
