How can I get certification from Ca BRN that I passed NCLEX for my VISA SCREEN?

Why don't you call the BRN or check their website for your answer. Since they are the ones who provide this info, they know the answer.

You submit the verification form that comes with the VSC application to CA BRN with $60 and they will send it on for you. It is the same form for license verification, just use that.

No reason to call the BRN for this information.

You may also request a "copy of test results" from CA BRN to be sent to you for an additional $10, while you're at it. This is the copy that NCSBN sends to CA BRN containing the info of where you tested, date of test and your digital photo taken immediately before you took the NCLEX. That is if you only want an additional proof of you passing the NCLEX RN for the State of CA for a fee $10... if not just save the $10.

Sure, you can do that but I think no need for 2 copies. You can just photocopy the copy they give. The one they will give is also really just a photocopy. They will keep the original one. They will stamp it w/ a "COPY". The employers and the lawyers will also just need photocopies of your originals.

Just send a letter requesting the board to send a copy of the test result with $10.00 fee. No need for verification form since you don't have the license number yet. That's what I did.

CA requires $60 to complete the form for ICHP. It has not been $10 in quite a few years. This is the form that they use to verify that you passed the exam. This is what everyone has been using, and waht ICHP stated that they wanted. You mayhave gotten licky, but that is not the norm.

I was instructed by Ca board to do this because I am not quite sure what to do too so I called them first before sending the letter. Anyway, they forwarded the result. I know they require $60 to complete the verification but I was told that they don't need to do that since I don't have a license no. yet so it was not a license verification. Guess I got lucky!!!

:monkeydance: this is the proper way: first make a letter of Request for ICHP Visa Screen, then mail it to California BON address with check/money order $60. they will all do the rest. The Verfication of California RN Licensure is used when applying for Eligibility in other Sates.

I've done it. I made a letter of request already and sent it with $60 check. How long does it take? It's been 2 weeks already.
