How is the BSN entry level program at Nova Southeastern University?

Hey I'm new to this site, and was just curious how Nova's nursing program is. I just got accepted into the Fall 2010 nursing program at the main campus in Davie. Any advice on how it is? Did you feel prepared when you took your NCLEX after completing the 27 month program? Would love to hear from anybody. I'm so excited and cant wait to start in august! :)

I applied to the nursing program for winter 2011 and I still have not heard anything. I applied in the beginning of July. I have a 3.5 gpa cumulative overall with an AA in Nursing and still nothing. Has anyone else that applied for winter been accepted?

Im going to try to ge there at 9 or 10. I've been to their open house before. i'm really going to to see if our classmates are going so we can meet up and I also want to take this opportunity to go try on the lab coat and uniforms. What time can you make it by?

I drove from orlando to attend the open house. I met with Ashley and picked up some goodies the falculty were handing out. The campus is very nice and big! Hope I get accepted. I recieved alot of information and look forward to attending fall 2011.

Has anyone bought their uniforms yet? I went to the bookstore with Jani1126 and we tried on the lab coats. I ordered it and a scrub top. When I get it, Im going to the Uniform of America store to get some more.

I ordered my lab coat and received it last week. I havent bought the uniforms but may buy them next paycheck..Looking forward to buying them.. :) .....I went to the open house also and got some freebies...but not that much info for students that already got accepted..A student told me I will get more info in the new student orientation on jan 4 or 5, 2011 not sure what day..

Futurenurse how long did it take for you to receive your lab coat? And are you ordering your uniforms through Nova or are u going to get them at UA?

the uniforms I will get them at UA. The lab coat surprisingly, took about 16 days for it to arrive.

Wow that is shocking to hear considering how orders was backed up for the fall students. Thx for responding back.
