Dear Breech
May I ask why you didn't mention the temp. working permit?
According to the article that I read on this tread, some people metioned about temperatory working permit after CNBC approved them to take the RN exam. So far I still can't understand how this process proceed. Would you mind making it more clear for me? what is PNP? I have no relatives in Canada. Will I be fit this program? Thank you for your time.

Temp work permit is what most workers enter Canada with. PNP (Province Nominee Program) helps get PR quicker
This should explain PNP a bit more http://www.aved.gov.bc.ca/provincialnominee/welcome.htm and each province will have their own program

Hi everyone,
I wrote my exam in ON, toronto. this was my first attempt, and i failed for 6 points. I was working under my temporary licence which is revoked right now. I can't work untill i pass the exam. it's very heart breaking and i'm very depressed. I also took 2 week prep course from nursing education. From my experience i found that prep course was not very helpful b/c the second booklet of my exam was full of community nursing and in prep course they didn't even touch the community nursing.
Now i wanted to join a prep course which is really really helpful. pls help me out here..........i don't know from should i srart studying again? "
Breech,
Do you know that if you can't pass CRNE , you are wasting your $500 + for immigrant application. Hence , you should apply only after you passed CRNE exam. They WON'T give you resident card without RN license.
Good Luck !
hi breech,
I've been wanting to msg you to inquire about some things
if you don't mind. You see, I'm also from the Philippines, same
city even. I've read your posts because I was "researching" on
the process of becoming an RN in BC.
I'm in the processing stage. I actually received already a notification
from the CRNBC that I have been assessed. And the next step,
as far as I know is looking for a BC employer.
That's actually my inquiry. I've been trying a few weeks to contact
different health authorities but up to now, to no avail.
Do you have any suggestions on how to go about it? I've been
reading your posts and I'm hoping I could get more information
from you or something.
Thank you very much.
Sweet Jelly
