How to become RN in British Columbia?

Published

Hi guys i need your suggestions on this, my wife recently passed the recent board exam given by PRC last June2008, in this regard shes asking the step to take in going for an RN in British Columbia, Vancouver. What are the requirements so she can have her papers assessed.

Hey j8win! Yes, it's very good news indeed about the notarization thing. I feel much relieved!

Thanks so much to all who gave their thoughts on the matter and shared their experiences! :)

Hi u8ntcnntnyt!

Thanks so much for your reply! So I guess it took around 3 weeks? Btw, what parcel service did you use to send your application? Thanks

Davkelnice, I used different couriers. For my application, I used FedEx. PRC gives you two choices for sending the verification of license/registration: standard mail or courier. I chose the courier type, which is done through 2GO. Same with my school records. For the IELTS result, they also give you two choices: batch courier or the one with DHL. The DHL was REALLY expensive! But at the time I had to make a choice between that (which would only take 3 days) and the batch (which would take 3 weeks), and since I was kind of in a hurry to send all my documents, I opted for the former.

Are you planning to send your documents soon or have you applied to CRNBC?

I just need to send my IELTS. I sent my application through LBC, the PRC registration through Fed Ex. I'll be going to IDP tom and check out their options. Btw, How much is their package through DHL?

The IDP courier fee (using DHL) is P1,500, while the batch is, I think, around P500.

Even the batch is expensive... :) Btw, anyone here who has a Canadian Visa or have relatives in BC? :)

I have already an employer. They are processing my permanent residency through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Could you tell me when did you find your employer ? ( before or after your CRNBC application).

Thanks.

May I know what is the meaning of "PLEASE PRINT" on the forms ?

( Capital letters or do I actually have to use printer to print. )

Print in this way means print in capitals nice and clearly.

Hi all,

My employer told me Form 37 request must come from CRNBC directly . ( Not from me ).

Any suggestion how to overcome this ?
