Moved to the International forum as per the red banner asking registration and immigration questions to be posted there if foreign trained nurses
All information will be on the province's nursing board website. Where exactly are you looking to work as I notice you are also asking about Singapore? For Canada she will have to take the CRNE which is only held 3 times a year in Canada, will need English exam. We have a few threads ongoing regarding the process suggest a search

You need to log on to www.crnbc.ca and download the packet for international nurses. This may take at most 6 months for registration so you better lodge your application. Mine was lodged last July 7, and until now havent receive any feedback from them. It will take about 8-12 weeks for the receipt and another 12-16 weeks for the final evaluation.

Hi! That was pretty fast. When did you lodge your application? Thanks
i submitted my application to CRNBC on January 2008 and I was made eligible by April 2008
Thanks for the info. Are you physically located in the Philippines? My application was sent JUne 2008. I was moved into the system July 7, 2008. I am not receiving any correspondents from them up to now.
Probably they are getting an influx of applicants.
DO you have an employer for BC who is willing to sponsor you?
Thank you.
I have already an employer. They are processing my permanent residency through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
I'm in the Philippines
That's good to hear. I hope to receive my assessment the soonest possible time and apply also. I hope I could get someone to petition me all the way as you did. If you wouldn't mind, how long have you been working as a nurse in the Philippines. Thanks and best of luck.

i did that already. they're requiring me to have my qualifications assessed by crnbc. well, i'm on the process already. i have a lot of questions to ask you. i'm weighing things right now because i applied to 3 different countries. my us application commenced late december 2007. i would want to gain experience from other countries. i have a pending registration application for canada and in queensland australia. i hold less than a year experience as a ward nurse (med-surg and er) and an ongoing post graduate course in psychiatric nsg. i am employed close to 2 years as a telehealth nurse for us patients. please pm me. i have a lot of questions to ask. thanks
