You can register in either IDP Education (Australia) or the British council.

If you live near the IDP office in Makati or in Ortigas for the British Council it is advisable to just hand carry your application forms to them.

The NCLEX-RN is the national licensure exam for the US. You cannot apply for it directly. You must apply to a state Board of Nursing for licensure and the exam is just one of the steps of the process.

Please go to the International Forum and read the stickies at the top of that forum, there is much information that you need to have.

And anything having to do with the NCLEX exam specifically, goes to either the International Forum or the NCLEX Forum.

The Philippine Forum is specifically for questions on working in this country, or specific to people from the Philippines. NCLEX-RN exam is for all, including any American nurse to get a US license.

ok tnx alot!

how about review books for ielts? what do you prefer?

Both IDP and the British Council provide IELTS review materials that can be purchased on their offices.

I recommend visiting either one and have a look. They do offer workshops, free self-assessments, etc..

Any of the review books they sell are good. You are going to their office to either get the application forms or pay for the fees anyway so why not have a look there.

British Council has its own library within its office premises. If you live within the area of Ortigas, it would be wiser that you use their review materials there. It's for free, so no need to buy. The recommended review book would cost you about P2000-3000 each. Enrolling in a review center would charge you more even. I suggest you save that money for your next expenditures, like the Visa Screen. Work on the review materials suggested in the IDP/BC website, adopt the suggestions in the test and practice, practice, practice... Of course, with God's grace, you'll surely make it..

God bless.

Wow! They lend the materials for free? Do they also have a cd-rom to test yourself for the listening skill? I live near Makati. I'm hoping that the IDP Australia also have that kind of library.

Yes, you are free to use the library facilities at British Council -- books, audio materials, computers, etc.. -- for your review as long as you schedule with them. I don't think IDP has the same facility, British Council fosters that it's their edge over IDP.

CAn you please give us the exact address of that library! So that anyone would read it would know where to go...

And by the way... thank you...
