Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.
I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

Has anyone else heard from Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital, I think offers and rejections were going to be sent out this week, but did not get either. Has anyone else heard for either besides the 2 people that have posted about getting offers at Baytown? Just curious!
I contacted a recruiter there after I didn’t hear anything last week and she let me know that I didn’t get an offer. Not too sure if I would have heard anything otherwise.
Hello Everyone,
I know a lot of us got responses, and a lot of us did not. That's okay. It's going to be just fine as we will experience good times and down times in the future ahead of us. We are made for this and we are going to get our chance soon to prove to the world that we are built for this. So Congrats to everyone that got a chance to come to Match Day, for those who did not, Fall application is soon coming up soon. We got this!

Completely agree! Not only that but not everyone gets matched and offered a job the first round of residencies. I graduated last August with my ADN and will graduate this August with my BSN. I got rejected last time and got an offer this time. Good luck everyone and keep your hopes high!

I agree with you also. However, this is my 2nd time applying for programs. I didn't get any offers the first time around, and I thought I'd get some this time. Hasn't worked out for me as of yet, still waiting on some cuz I applied a little later but high not likely. If it doesn't work, I'm done looking for now.

I’m not too sure, but it is to become a dialysis nurse. Our school advisor sent us the title of the position and from my google search, this is the description “DaVita Kidney Care’s STAR training program equips new teammates to become the best dialysis RN they can be. You will be hired as a staff RN from day one and will be trained in dialysis through our regional STAR training program. “
I believe they are always hiring. It’s an option... I’m hoping to hear back from other residency programs, but if I don’t, I might consider this.

I haven't heard from Methodist Willowbrook either since the prescreen, too. I interviewed for L&D, and I emailed them this past week about when we would hear back but they haven't replied since. I'm getting extremely worried.?
