Houston Residencies Summer 2019!!

Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.

I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

I applied for OR. I did finally hear back from MH I have an interview time on Tuesday.

I did respond to the offer and I accepted. I think I am going to stick with them. I think their benefits and the atmosphere. I am still going to Match Day with MH because I told them I would be there. I am graduating with ADN so I can't work in the MC I didn't know that when I applied to nursing school. But I am already accepted to UT Health RN-BSN starting in the fall. I hope you get everything you want!

Has anyone else heard from MH Greater Heights? I believe they are sending out invites today! I just received my match day invite for mother/baby and I'm very excited!

I was offered a general med/surg position at Methodist Sugar Land, but I declined it. I never heard anything back from their mother/baby position.
