Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Applied for MH and Methodist in L&D and NICU ! Excited to see what happens ? already completed my assessment for MH and just in a holding pattern. Haven’t heard anything from Methodist. Any one else?

OK ? just checking around. I applied for the last cohort, completed the assessment, and never heard back. Nervous I guess ?

I think they're going to start reaching out in March closer to their match days!! I could be wrong but hopefully that's the case

Is there any information currently on specific dates for Pre-Match/Match Day? I think the last cohort heard about 3 weeks post-application deadline.

Match days (interviews) are the week of 3/21

Hi y'all! Just an update, I have a pre-screening interview with HM The Woodlands on March 3rd, and apparently someone in my cohort heard back from MH TMC to schedule a match day interview. Keep an eye on your emails in the next few weeks!

hi everyone! has anyone applied to TCH recently? I was about to apply for the July 2022 cohort but the page says error and I could no longer find it ? im really scared yall if anyone knows anything please let me know! the April one is still open so I'm not sure what's going on!

St Luke's sent out requests for zoom interviews on Friday (or at least started) - but that is the only hospital I have heard anything from besides assessments...just check your email/junk

Has anyone looked at apartments yet in Houston? I am currently trying to decide if I wanna live closer to the medical center or in the Heights. Does anyone who is from there have any opinions on it?
