Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Im in the Dallas area... im so clueless as far as places to live. When the recruiter asked me the location I wanted I was like ugh... let me get back to you LOL.

But from my understanding only the medical center has womens services and thats what im aiming for

Hey guys ?, I am a new grad nurse from Mississippi, I just graduated on the 15th of this month. I wanted to join this thread! My heart is in womens services, and I have applied to houston Methodist, memorial hermann, st Luke’s, Harris health, and Texas childrens residency program. I feel so anxious because I haven’t heard anything back past assessments so I’m like ahhhh LOL.

Which hospital locations did you apply to? Are you moving to Houston from Mississippi or are you already here? Congrats on graduating!!

Heyyy, I applied to houston Methodist west and willowbrook, memorial Hermann childrens(I forget the other location LOL), Ben taub, and Baylor at Luke’s. I’ll be moving to texas from Mississippi!
