Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Nope.. I did apparently get an email Friday evening with my manager's info (onboarding doc).. did you get a copy of this manual that they are speaking of?

No I didn't. I don't have the onboarding form either...

Starting 7/25 th for memorial hermann, the woodlands. Haven’t heard back anything yet.

I start at MH the woodlands on 7/25 as well. What unit will you be on? Did you receive the email from the nurse educator sent on 7/15? Aside from that I haven't heard anything else. No "cleared to start" email or anything like that.

I will be on TIRR unit. I haven’t heard anything but the nurse educator sent me an email that she is out of town till 18 th of July. What was the email on 15 th of July? Haven’t received it.
