Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

I have an interview with MH-TMC next week. Would anyone mind sharing with me what the interview was like? What were some specific questions that were asked? I applied for the Medicine IMU. The recruiter told me she would know either same day or within 24 hours, is this accurate?

My start date is July 5th, and I have onboarding tomorrow. Other than that, I haven’t heard anything

Hi I was wondering did the first 2 weeks of orientation end up being online? I accepted a spot with St. Luke's in the fall but I have a wedding the weekend between the first and second week of orientation and wanted to know if I would have time to go, HR said its too far out to know at this point.

I think they'll give us the whole schedule on the first day.

Has the Memorial Hermann residency started? I see they're still posting the new grad link for Summer 2022, so I'm wondering if they're still trying to fill spots
