Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Oh dang on the email it says 9pm to 3:30pm lmao. So I assumed it started at 3:30pm good thing I asked here ?

For tomorrow it’s 0900-1530 and Tuesday we will have to report at 0800

I have this as well.  I also have another email that states that we will be online for the first two weeks.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and provide you with an overview of your first few weeks within the organization.  For planning purposes, we anticipate that the first two weeks will be a Monday thru Friday 8am-430pm commitment and will be held virtually at home or at your home campus.

I think first day is on Zoom then we're meeting face-to-face on Tuesday. Oh yeah, I was trying to look for that second email as well. Are y'all wearing your scrubs on Tuesday?

That's good to hear cause I wasn't sure if we're supposed to wear scrubs or not. Hopefully the HR lady will get back to me by tomorrow morning with the Zoom link.
