Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

I received an email regarding the education part of orientation yesterday. Nothing yet on our schedules

Have you scheduled your NCLEX?  Do you know if they allow take time off during the week to test?

Yes mine is scheduled. I’m sure they do because we had to fill out that form letting them know what date we’re scheduled for

Hi! I got the email as well and it says after the first week we'll be divided into our department with our schedules. I was wondering if y'all have the zoom meeting link tho and can you pm it to me? Bc in the email they sent I could not find it at all.
