  1. Oh congrats! At least the info will still be fresh for the assessment test haha ? Sugar Land Hospital for me
  2. That's good to hear cause I wasn't sure if we're supposed to wear scrubs or not. Hopefully the HR lady will get back to me by tomorrow morning with the Zoom link.
  3. I think first day is on Zoom then we're meeting face-to-face on Tuesday. Oh yeah, I was trying to look for that second email as well. Are y'all wearing your scrubs on Tuesday?
  4. Oh dang on the email it says 9pm to 3:30pm lmao. So I assumed it started at 3:30pm good thing I asked here ?
  5. OMG I'll email the HR lady then. I think we'll have time tomorrow anyways since it starts at 3:30pm right?
  6. Hi! I got the email as well and it says after the first week we'll be divided into our department with our schedules. I was wondering if y'all have the zoom meeting link tho and can you pm it to me? Bc in the email they sent I could not find it at all.
  7. Oh I got the same email too! Are you going to St. Luke's Sugar Land? If so, we might be coworkers! ? Do you have an idea of what the scrub colors are?
  8. Sorry for the late reply. Usually they want an answer within a few days.
  9. Are you talking about the one for St. Luke's?
  10. Well, I haven't started yet but, when I interviewed for them, the nursing director who interviewed me was so kind and made me feel comfortable. We really clicked and I felt good vibes from her hehe. I felt a bit rushed to make a decision with them tho so I would say that's the only downside. St. Luke's has offered me the most pay starting at $33/hr plus a sign-on bonus of $10k. I would say MD Anderson offered the second highest at $31.73/hr plus night differential bonus pay of $8k+, good weekend and night differential pay, and their healthcare benefits are really good since they are federal and state-funded.
  11. The interview was very well organized. They orient you first on what to expect during your interview and then you go into a breakout room in Zoom with one of the unit nurse directors/managers. I got offered a starting rate of $33/hr and a sign-on bonus of $10k so their starting pay is probably the best offer I've received out of all the places I interviewed at.
  12. Hi everyone! I passed the NCLEX on April 22 and have applied/received offers for the following Summer 2022 nurse residency programs: St. Luke's Sugar Land - Med/Surg Telemetry Memorial Hermann TMC - Stroke IMU MD Anderson TMC - Surgical Urology/Orthology HCA Healthcare - Neuro ICU I just wanted to receive some insight on y'alls experiences on any of these nurse residency programs or units in general. I really love critical care and would love to learn more on which program is the best place to start my career in before I make a decision. In terms of starting pay, St. Luke's has offered the most and this is also a factor I am taking into account when making my decision.
  13. I've received an offer from them. I heard back from them last week and the HR recruiter told me that they only had two positions open. This is for the med-surg telemetry unit.
