Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

So you need an ATT (approval to test) to schedule for the NCLEX. Once your school submits proof that you fulfilled your graduation requirements per TBON and is approved by TBON, then you will have your ATT to test. You you will have your temporary license in the place of your nursing license for 75 days once you receive your att. That’s according to my school, but I would strongly encourage you to speak with your nursing school advisor.

They orient you first on what to expect during your interview and then you go into a breakout room in Zoom with one of the unit nurse directors/managers. I got offered a starting rate of $33/hr and a sign-on bonus of $10k so their starting pay is probably the best offer I've received out of all the places I interviewed at.
Wow that’s really great! Thank you so much shareing this information with me. Good luck on your journey, you got this!
Hello everyone. I am new. I applied for the fall cohort at Memorial Hermann at the Memorial city location and they send me a message saying that I qualify for this cohort. I have an interview tomorrow for the OR position. Has anyone here interviewed for this or for Memorial City Neuroscience Acute Care position?
