Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Does anyone know what color scrubs they wear at Children's Memorial Hermann TMC? I think it's navy, but I want to be sure.

I interviewed with methodist OR (OPC 18) last week and still haven't heard back...anyone else? since they're taking so long to respond back, does this mean I am no longer considered for the position?

I'd get in touch with the recruiter and let them know so they can tell you what next steps would be!

I accepted a position a while back. which OR are you waiting for?

I interviewed with OPC 18 (plastics/ent) on may 2nd and haven't heard anything so IDK if this means im not considered for the position anymore. I reached out to the people who interviewed me and they told me to contact HR, but HR told me to email [email protected] and still no response ;(

I would try to reach out to the HR recruiter again and send another follow up email to the grad nurse careers

I've received an offer from them. I heard back from them last week and the HR recruiter told me that they only had two positions open. This is for the med-surg telemetry unit.
