Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

CICU, TMC... but since I graduate after the cut off date they can't accept my application. So annoying, literally a week off. I would love to be in the CICU. They told me if anything changes (I have a job offer with MH TMC) to contact them for the next cohort.

Has anyone been reached out for interviews at any of TCH's acute inpatient units, transplant inpatient unit, or SICU?

Hi! I have an interview in the cardiac IMU at Memorial Hermann tomorrow! Can anyone who interviewed with MH tell me what kind of questions they asked? Was it super specific questions about what you would do in specific situations? I would appreciate any help offered or advice ?

Has anyone got an offer from Houston Methodist TMC CVICU?? Or any offer at all from them? Unit based interviews went on last week so I feel a bit in the dark.

I got an offer from them last week for CVICU

yea I interviewed with the manager of the unit. got the offer a few days later

I just received an offer from Memorial Hermann TMC!! 

For those of you who got offers from Memorial Hermann, how did you officially accept the offer? Did you start the new hire checklist and start the background check? I emailed back the recruiter that I accepted the offer, but I don't know how to make it official

There will be a separate email for all that. Mine came a few days after the initial offer email.
