Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

My interview with Children’s MH was super short too. Had to be 3-4 questions tops. Received an offer last night though.

Omggg really? I interviewed today with children's there mother/baby unit and I’m stressed

Yes, I interviewed yesterday morning! Thank you, it was for the IMU CSC.

Did anyone else receive a survey to complete from Texas Children?

Specializes in BA, MBA, currently pursuing ABSN.

I received a survey from Texas Children's with preferences etc...

I also interviewed with Memorial Herman TMC today for Clinical Observation Unit (ED is my preference)

And got an offer at Ben Taub for ED - which I took!

Cohort members received offers from the NICU at BT and Neuro ICU at BT today for those that are waiting
