Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Nope and I was just wondering this! I went for the ED at TMC and haven’t heard back since my prescreening

Yes, I got an offer for Willowbrook oncology today!

TMC said they would let us know by the end of the month. After prescreening we have to interview with the unit manager. I hope to hear something soon!!

That’s what I was told too but I’m guessing that’s happening next week? LOL

True LOL Well they have almost 2 full business weeks, but the sooner the better! I am constantly checking my email LOL

Which location for NICU? 
 

I have written down in my notes from the open house zoom calls that we would be notified if we got the position within 24-72 hrs of interview. Good luck!
