Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

I think it varies by location. Some of my friends scheduled second interviews right after their first. But I interviewed with the Woodlands location and I heard back from them today. So I think it just depends on which location you’re interviewing for.

Weird question-Does anyone know if Houston Methodist has a reimbursement program that pays off nursing student loans when you start working for them?

Yes! It was mentioned to me during the prescreening event.

I received the follow up email the same day as the prescreening. But --------------------------- also emailed me the next morning, telling me that they’re moving forward in the process and asking for me to come in this next week to talk to some of the med/surg staff. I interviewed with med/surg so I’m not sure what it’s like for the other units.

I did a little googling and I think it’s more so if you pursue higher ed after you start with them, not so much back paying loans, but I could be wrong!

Thats what I saw online to the tuition reimbursement program to pursue another degree. I was looking for one for student loans already used because I noticed another residency program has it

Which location did they call you back for ?
