   I didn’t actually apply there. I applied to med surg for Southwest a couple of weeks ago and after I interviewed with med surg the director referred me to the director at HVI. I interviewed with HVI last week

   I accepted an offer today with Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute at the Southwest location if anyone else on here is planning on being there!

   It’s all good! I think the ones yet to graduate are the ones that have the hiring event on the 2nd but can never hurt to reach out and as when we get closer to double check!

    I’m a little confused on what you mean by spots opening up due to failing NCLEX as well.. I know HCA has more cohorts than many hospitals. Are you possibly referring to spots for the Jan/feb cohort? A lot of us here have not graduated and taken NCLEX...

    Of course. Mine got sent over to my second choice hospital to review before I even got my rejection email because I just happen to check my status the night before and saw my second choice was reviewing it so I really do think they try to do it quick...

    Don’t get down. A lot of people I’ve heard from are getting rejected from their first choices, I did too! It gets sent directly to your second choice so no worries yet!
