Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

They mentioned at the open house that their Match days will be scheduled on March 23 and 24, just FYI.

Does anyone know if MH does Skype/video interviews? I’m already flying in from out of state next week for an interview and I really don’t want to/can’t afford to do it again this month LOL

They may be able to skype or a type of video interview but I'm not entirely sure. I won't be able to make it either so I'm hoping they provide an alternative.

This is what there FAQ says about it

Q. If I am invited to attend Match Day, but am unable to attend in person, can I still
be considered for a GN position?
A. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis. However, to be fair to all candidates, it
is strongly recommended that you attend in person.

I’m not sure if everyone already booked their interview slots for St. Luke’s but I cancelled my slot (12:45-1:45), so there’s 1 slot open for it.

On my app, I put med center but I was under the impression that all the locations interviewed on the same day and place.

The email to schedule an interview was sent to me last Tuesday. The follow-up questions after I submitted my interview was 1/28/20

By the time I opened the email, all the slots were filled, so I had to email Linda and she’s working on finding me an interview time. It’s kinda weird that they sent out more emails than they had prepared slots.
