Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

Did anyone get an invite to the pre screening interview for Houston Methodist on Thursday 5th and emailed them back saying that day didn’t work for them? If so what was the alternate option to prescreen?

I'm having the same problem! I go to school out of state and with class and preceptorship I can't make the prescreening interview. I responded immediately on the email and then called today since they didn't say anything to my email, but no reply yet. I'll keep you updated if/when I hear back!

Ahh gotcha! I have a class that afternoon, I scheduled the latest time I could for my pre-screening interview but I still have to skip my class. I’m sure they will work with you, but I don’t know how full their email is/how long it would take them to get back to you, you know?

I got the invite for Methodist Willowbrook for med surg and can't go since I have clinical. The alternate option they gave me was to FaceTime them on Friday instead! So they can work with you!

When did you get the invite to Houston Methodist? I applied but never got an email for their open day on March 5th?

It depends on the location and unit you applied for. Mine is for Sugar land ICU. I’m fairly certain they invite literally everyone so don’t worry!

Hey guys, I applied to Houston Methodist with Woodlands as my first and TMC as my second. Haven't received an email for the prescreening yet though...I'm worried about my application as I was one of the people who had to redo It after.

As far as Texas Children's, I like most people received the update about apps but I know several did get open house and interview invites for March 3rd. I know the units that sent out invites are PICU and Heme/Onc there might be others.

For Memorial Hermann, I have YET to receive their behavioral assessment. I received 2 emails saying I should be receiving it. Their last one said their issue should be resolved by Feb 27 and I still didn't get It.

I am hearing that Texas Children started to send out emails for PICU and Hem/Onc, are they still sending out emails for invites for those units or did they send them all out already?

Hi I am in the same boat with you with Houston Methodist. TCH I applied for their CVICU And second option PICU I didn’t get a pre screening too. Memorial I got the assessment just yesterday.

I read on this thread they send some out last week and also Monday /Tuesday of this week. My application status said “transferred “ so I didn’t get any email.

I also put CVICU first and PICU second and haven't heard anything yet. I'm hoping PICU and hem/onc are the only units that have sent invites out! Has anyone gotten an open house/ interview for the CVICU at TCH?

For Memorial Hermann I had to email my recruiter informing that I still hadn’t received the link and then she called me and was able to give me my password over the phone. She also said to try actually reaching out to Prophecy Health sine the problem is more on that end!
