Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

For those of you who heard from Methodist, did you apply to the positions that specify the type of floor you would be on or was it the general Summer 2020 grad nurse residency position? I see them constantly posting about new grad positions on indeed based on what floor the applicant would be on so I’m confused as to whether the premature/interview day would vary based on when you applied for the positions? I think they even posted something new like yesterday

When Methodist emails you to choose a pre-interview time slot for this Thursday, it instructs you to apply to a certain job listing on their website. Those are the job postings you’re seeing on indeed. For example, I applied to sugar land location ICU, so when I got an email for the pre-interview day for that location and unit, I had to go online and fill out the applicable individual job app.

For those of you who applied to Methodist, has anyone not heard at all from them for pre-screening interviews? I am planning on emailing them but wondering if anyone else is on the same boat.

I'm not sure if it's limited numbers. At the bottom of the email it instructs us to email if we can't attend so they can find an alternative option.

My understanding was that anyone who applied and met the minimum requirements got invited to the pre-interview day on Thursday. However today at my clinical at methodist woodlands a nurse manager told me they already picked the people they were going to interview and those people got invited to Thursdays event

I feel “professionally ghosted” by St. Luke’s at this point. I’ve had the same nightmare every night for like a week where I open my email and finally have some kind of rejection and honestly I think that would be merciful at this point
